RE: Landewyck salesI will speak from my own personal experience and perhaps it may help visualize what is happening with Poda.
When I was younger I manufactured a few hair products that were sold through hair salons. I wanted to avoid selling through pharmacies as the margins are lower and, they usually copy your product if it is successful and put it at a lower cost.
For my products I sought out distributors throughtout Canada. I managed to land a deal with Helene Curtis, which is a big Amercian and cosemtics parlor products firm. They tried my products and they liked it.
So we signed a deal that they would be exclusive distributors in a Province in Canada as a trial basis. The product sold well through their hair salons.
We began to have more serious discusssions and I asked them what is going to happen if the product sells very well.
They told me that their policy in such a case would be to buyout my company.
Unfortuntely despite the early success, given that I was a one person operation, I did not have the financing to push the product through advertisements on television, radio or newspaper. Eventually the line was abandonned by Helene Curtis. They are a billion dollar corporation.
So I understand all the secrecy and silence surrounding Landewcyk partnership deal.
My guess is that the trial blend period will be a success. They will sign commerical deal and launch one or two pod products. I expect success on the launch as Poda has the arms and financing to make it happen.
Once product gets a firm footing, I expect that BAT will push Landeywck to make out a buyout offer to PODA and, it will be a line for their private products.
If we sign a deal with Landewcyk to commericalize the poda pods, I expect that we will take out the highs.
How high it goes depends on its success.
Hopefully the trial period will be done soon and we get news in May 2022 of a major deal. Then we have a rally like last year to new highs by August 2022.
My personal opinion,
