Li-Cycle Holdings Corp LICY

Li-Cycle Holdings Corp. is a Canada-based global lithium-ion battery resource recovery company. The Company is focused on recovering critical battery-grade materials to create a domestic closed-loop battery supply chain for a clean energy future. The Company leverages its sustainable and patent-protected Spoke & Hub Technologies to recycle all different types of lithium-ion batteries. At its Spokes, or pre-processing facilities, the Company recycles battery manufacturing scrap and end-of-life batteries to produce black mass, a powder-like substance which contains a number of valuable metals, including lithium, nickel and cobalt. Its Spoke products include two main product lines: battery materials (black mass) and mixed copper/aluminum. At its Hubs, or post-processing facilities, the Company plans to process black mass to produce critical battery-grade materials, including lithium carbonate, for the lithium-ion battery supply chain.

RE:Short Report

RE:Short ReportAs someone who has watched this stock for a while, I am surprised and disappointed that management has been silent on this. Gotta say it's hard to ignore and my plans to buy in are gone until the issues get addressed publicly. Yeah, the LG investment made me think twice, but according to the short seller they'll need 1 billion and they only got 50 million from LG, though admittedly also a vote of confidence
