RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Bombardier Alstom Statement re: BTHey Nobody.
I see this all the time. When a company is in the wrong? They sue the other one for anything they can find. Or everyone involved in the deal. For sure what happened here is that Bombardier asked for the closing money from Alstom, and threatened to sue Alstom Recently if they didn't pay up. So Alstom is choosing arbitration to settle claim and claiming that Bombardier owes them money.to defend their position, hoping that the Arbitrator will offset the Bomber claim against Alstom. Alstom doesn't have a leg to stand IMHO. I followed the closing deal, and posted at the time of closing that the Bomber was probably short changed
on Inventory, which is paid separate on closing. Or Alstom wanted the idiot Bomber to solve all the Legacy problems with Bombardier's money. What thieves. They not only wanted the company cheap. They wanted Bombardier to fix the Legacy problems too, with the Bomber money. Again what thieves. That's why they got $1B off the price before they firmed up the deal. What else did they want? They withheld the $400M, and Bombardier closed in dispute. WHY? Because without that closing $7.5B (?) on closing the Bomber would have gone under. So the Bomber closed the deal. But Bombardier didn't forget that money that Alstom withheld, so Bombardier told Alstom that they are going after the closing funds that were withheld. So what does Alstom do? They go on the ATTACK saying that they won't pay or release the $400M for any stupid excuse that they could think of. My only question is is, that. What are the laws for funds in dispute on closing? This happens all the time, where Buyers like Alstom, don't want to pay up at closing. But that money here
in Canadian Law is that, for those Funds are being "HELD IN ESCROW" until the dispute is resolved. I wonder how Europe deals with these situations of dispute. Maybe the same way. For sure the Bomber wanted to get their hands on it, and that's when Alstom started to point fingers, and make up all kinds of excuses to stop the transfer of funds. I hope the Bomber sues the shite out of Alstom. That money is the Bombers.
This is why I get so upset with this idiot's PB's dealings. The problem doesn't stop there with PB. Doesn't this company (Family) know how to hire good Lawyers to help them deal with these Billions that they are being
Ripped off of on every deal???? Sorry to ask this. I don't mean to sound prejudiced against the many bright people, and smart businessmen of Quebec. Are all Quebec outfits this naive?? I doubt that the Paladeau's, Desmarais, Case's, Air Canada's, the Alimentation Couche-Tards and so many other good Quebec outfis are this NAIVE. I hope I'm wrong here, and this "IDIOT HEIR" PB is the only dumb F$*&^%K businessman left in Quebec. Because I really got tired of the stupid business decisions in his REING of the Bomber.
Even now I'm regretting that even averaged down. MyNameIsNobody wrote: Bago - I once asked you a simple question and you declined to answer.. adding your own smart-*ss reply. The ' I'm suing to even-out some other claim against me ' is a valid argument as far as a negotiation tactic from Alstom... imho
