RE:BRCMost all mining stocks are suffering in this environment, as you know.  ...can't guess how long it will continue, though it will get worst if we are headed toward recession (or worse). What is happening in Europe regarding Russia threatening to cut off gas supplies may be the key.  If Poland (and later the result of Europe) agrees to buy gas in Rubles, the worst will be avoided for a while. Do they have the guts to say no? 

Also, all the central banks are screaming that they will be raising interest rates faster and higher than previously thought.  That hurts markets, but do they have the guts to follow through?

So many unknowns now.  But as you suggest, the news from Blackrock can make a difference.
