RE:Article: Apr 27/22 - Growing Popularity of Pre-RollsGood article, very insighful and worth the read. It is rather comical when pre-roll's where first introduced the old black market crowd or "commpasionate club" people as they like to refer to themselves as, made so much fun of "pre-rolls" laughing away saying nobody will ever buy them. The reality is not everyone can roll a nice joint and secondly people are bloodly lazy and will pay for the convienence. Black market / compasionate club crowd was dead wrong.
Not surprised to read this...
"Redees, multipacks of small, cigarette-style joints from Hexo Corp's Redecam subsidiary, remain the leading Canadian pre-roll brand, with year-to-date sales of roughly CA$24.9 million and market share of 10.7% in the four provinces Headset tracks. On muliple occasions I have mentioned that consumers like the 10 pack, they like the 0.35g personal size and they like that it looks like an ultra slim cigarette. Been saying this for about 6 months now. Tilray will have an offering like this not long down the road with this Hexo relationship as they mentioned in the PR "straight edge pre-rolls". GOOD!! Not surprised to read this either. "The infused pre-rolls are popping off right now, for sure. … We’re selling quite a few of them on a regular basis,” said Ryan Roch, owner and operator of Alberta independent retailer Lake City Cannabis, with locations in Calgary and Chestermere." Consumers like the convience of pre-rolls so why wouldn't there be a consumer group that likes Super Charged Pre-rolls? Infused Pre-Rolls,is one of the newer
growing catergories as I see more offerings are coming to market.
