Whitecap Resources Inc. is an oil-weighted growth company. The Company is engaged in the business of acquiring, developing and holding interests in petroleum and natural gas properties and assets. Its core areas include the West Division and East Division. Its West Division is comprised of three regions: Smoky, Kaybob and Peace River Arch (PRA). The properties in its Smoky region include Kakwa and Resthaven, all located in Northwest Alberta. The primary reservoir being developed is the Montney resource play, mainly comprised of condensate-rich natural gas. Kaybob is located in the Fox Creek region of Northwest Alberta. The primary reservoir being developed is the Duvernay resource play, mainly comprised of condensate-rich natural gas. The PRA is its original asset area. CVE did triple thier dividend yesterday.  WCP upped their by 33% a month or so back.

SURE! I would have liked to have another up of the divvy - but if anyone is getting shaken up about it not going up and tries to compare WCP to CVE or almost any other player in OG, I will remind them to go check the overall yield.

CVE now pays $0.42 per year on their shares which are trading at $24 plus (1.71%).

WCP pays $0.36 per year on shares less than half that vlaue (3.33%)
