RE:BTE Peavine clearwater statementI doubt OBE has any of this land...OBE closest land is still a little ways away probably 6 miles...the closest land they have to peavine they drilled a JV with woodcote that was average results...not these barnburners..
BTE has been pretty clear this is a sweet spot of thicker pay more porous...even there stepout only 2 miles north they did was basicallya dud with ip 30 of 120 bopd...
Now I have heard the clearwater zone gets thicker further north of seal so could be something up there..spur drilled 1 test back in like 2019 and it was ok..more average...
But even BTE sweet spot they will burn through in couple years...also look into production data and bTE peavine wells are declining 50% in 6 months..thats shale type declines....They had a nice bump to 8000 bopd on 10 wells flush production in sweet spot...but they going to need to keep drilling to maintain that with quicker than anticipated declines.
