What if...What if your employer promised you a raise and at payday there was none. I imagine you'd be pretty pissed off and rightly so. So your employer says that complications arose and there would be a delay, but your patience and understanding will be rewarded next payday. And low and behold, next payday...Nothing! So now, you've been misled, but cannot quit because you bought a new car and rented a more expensive apartment based on this promise.
