Its only now that I get a sense of how royalties work (none of the producers really discuss this in depth in their MD&A) and that when you hedge at a fixed price, your royalties - as a % of said fixed price - hypothetically have no limit. That's a real concern especially with what's going on in the world. Ironically, it seems safer nowadays to invest in an E&P that is unhedged. Certainly have more upside.
