First off , I was still reading the report while the sugar high crew were bugling like Parrots , FCF miss , BRAAAACK , FCF miss , BRAAACK ...... but what you would have found if you bothered to "read" the report was the capex spending that more than doubled Clearwater production (3000bpd up to 8000bpd) . Now take away that spending and FCF balloons to over $200M !!!!!!
Second point , not one of the sugar jockey's bothered to listen to the conference call , the sky was falling and they were out selling masks and bomb shelter blueprints . Those of us that listened in heard confirmation that much of the Clearwater requires freezing temps (ie: ice roads etc) to access many areas and the agreement to explore the field required a west to east approach . BTE has been focused , de-risk and then drill , move east , de-risk and drill . They haven't even reached the sweet spot yet .
The short term view has no appreciation that without a proper understanding of the reservior , a bad plan can curtail optimal production and literally destroy the fields potential . A thoughtful and responsible developement of Clearwater will pay dividends for years to come but the short term paranoids don't want to talk about that any more than the democrats want to acknowledge the existance of Hunter Biden's laptop or its contents . I could go on but you get my point .
I am all for a healthy debate but you need to offer facts , not hollow rhetoric . If you come into my house , piss on my leg and claim its raining you will be picking teeth out of your feces for the next 3 weeks . I have no use for the dryer lint that hides behind a keyboard while trying to yell "FIRE" in a crowded theatre . Be it pro or con , substance is what I respond to as fluff will disappear like a ripe Dandelion .
My generation was taught to think for themselves , to read , to ask questions and to call BS when someone said 2 + 2 = 3 . Today it seems people want a shortcut , they would rather have someone else do the work and tell them what to think . Do yourself a favor , take the time , read the material and think for yourself . Buy - hold - sell , (I don't care) its your money and its your call .
