RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:How much to trust? Or not?

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:How much to trust? Or not?Actually, this is relevant to Quarterhill's current search for a permanent CFO. I'm sure Stephen Thompson is doing an excellent job but he is, officially, the interim CFO.

Where should Quarterhill find their eventual permanent CFO? The answer should be: wherever they can.

Maybe ST himself? I'm not sure if his skill set is ultimately the right fit.

Maybe Quarterhill's next acquisition will happen to come with a great CFO--though, of course, you want to be careful not to let the CFO tail wag the acquisition dog.

Maybe from ETC or IRD? I have no idea.

The point is that if, hypothetically, ETC ended up supplying the new permanent CFO it's not like ETC wins and Quarterhill (or IRD or Sensor Line) loses. That would be a ridiculous way of understanding the situation--though one that is not so uncommon (and that often leads to acquisitions ending up as disasters.)
