Dividend Growth Split Corp T.DGS

Alternate Symbol(s):  DDWWF | T.DGS.PR.A

The Funds investment objectives are to provide holders of Preferred shares with fixed, cumulative, preferential, quarterly cash distributions and to return the original issue price of 10.00 per Preferred share to shareholders at maturity; and to provide holders of Class A shares with regular monthly cash distributions, targeted to be at least 0.10 per Class A share, and the opportunity for growth in Net Asset Value per Class A share. The Fund invests, on an approximately equally weighted basis, in a portfolio consisting primarily of equity securities of Canadian dividend growth companies. In addition, the Fund may hold up to 20% of the total assets of the portfolio in global dividend growth companies for diversification and improved return potential, at the Managers discretion.

Nearly a million shares dumped with stop losses hit

Nearly a million shares dumped with stop losses hit No other explanation for DGS dropping 5% on a day where the TSX 60 only dropped  1.16 or less than a tenth of 1 % .. Now explain how DGS commons drop 5% on the day. Appears to be a Sell in May event, and definitely was not a result of a huge selloff inthe 60 biggest stocks on the TSX.
I sold a few early with a stop loss, but luckily didnt have all of my holdings in that.
I am betting a big bounce back tomorrow when traders realize the TSX  market  basically was flat today. RBC and ANON the big sellers. I would suggest a lot was stop losses on the sell side.
Here was the trading summary.
