That has nothing to do with diabetes. Its about preventing certain molecules from diffusing and allowing others. This shows huge promise for the technology. However it was evident by the side by side images of conformal coated cells vs non coated, that the conformal coating does sacrifice some performance due to what looked to me to be about half as much insulin staining. Question is, has conformal coating only ever been designed to work with insulin producing cells? Or should it work with other indications as well
