RE:Bad day in the marketsSterling closed flat in Canada today after starting the day in the green.  Trading was thin.  Late in the day on the US side, it spiked 8.45 percent ON TWO TRADES.  

These made for a minor victory when the broader makers were walloped - miners and explorers were slammed especially hard.  Even the Dow was off over three points. 

Let's see what tomorrow brings.
