Management will not take the company private. For starters I think they are basically honourable, decent people who are trying to do their best for all shareholders.

On the off-chance that they did aspire to take the company private . . . well . . . for starters they'd have to get a professional valuation. Mindblowing expensive. Then potential shareholder pushback. Ain't gonna happen.

While I'm sure a tanker build cycle upturn is upon us, I'm not so sure it will be anywhere near as powerful as what we had in 2013-14. Shale was just crazy then.
