RE:Why not

RE:Why notThe family has lost more from sp drop then any individual or institutional buyers from ~15-20 years ago when sp was well over 20$. Risk of doing R/S is well know to the family. I doubt they want to see there holdings erode anymore. R/S alows sp to trade higher $ amount. Most banks and investment funds have regulations where they cant buy stocks below 5$. Since most bank had good things to say about bbd, I am pretty sure they will buy bbd sp after R/S.

change float. Then you can go the market to sell
200 million shares say for about 5 billion approximately.
Now you are left with a 285 million float. Proceeds go
to the debt and you are left with 1.7 billion in debt. The interest rate
savings alone is wort this move for all the company
and shareholders going forward. Before all the abuse
starts, tell me why it would be a bad move. I believe
with current bank estimates on the stock the bomber could
cut a nice deal for those shares sold. Best case scenario
is the share price moves up 20% or so before R/S takes
effect.
