RE:Stocks To Ponder
I worry about holding stocks before earnings having been burned a few times. Everyone is saying, 'its been a cold extended winter', which is true but its the type of one dimensional thinking that i have fallen prey to in the past.
Having said that, i am continuing to hold finding SPB's price action to be quite strong in the face of the general market downturn although most utilities/pipes are holding up quite nicely. Bear in mind that SPB has already had a 25-30% haircut and more earnings in U.S. dollars. This is comforting.
If the market drags SPB down rather than company specifics i hope i have the temerity to buy more.
