RE:Results Vs Share PriceAnd they've always said that higher interest rates help the insurers. Well, in MFC case, rates have increased and yet its still below $27! So now what? They'll say its a total market sell off, recession looming ets as the new reason lol? Always some excuse when it comes to MFC share price.
A 10yr chart of MFC is very depressing. And yes, if it wasn't for the quarterly dividend. Who knows how much lower the share price would be. That being said, since the share price has been pretty much dead for the past decade. Maybe MFC should offer a monthly dividend instead of quarterly. At least that way there would be something to be excited about.

Manulife can't shake past events that labelled them under performers even though their recent results have been excellent. They have done a good job managing their business. The experts agree this company should be valued around $34+. But here we are at $25+ and can't seem to get past $27 even with solid momentum. I wish I had more answers Vs questions. Especially now that the financial sector seems to be in for a hit.
