RE:RE:Maybe someone knows the answerYes, they can be sold from partner to partner without disclosure UNLESS they are directors of the company, in which case it would have to be disclosed.

Shares trade hands every time somebody comes and goes.  

Last time I looked it up, there were over 100 partners and relatively steady.

I know that seniority is a pretty big thing at IBG.  Nobody comes in off the street and becomes a partner ("director).  They want partners with 15-20 yrs experience.... people are going to stick around through the thick and thin.... people who have skin in the game.  They also have several "associate partners" and it typically takes 10+ years to get to that status...and you have to be good.
