Bonterra Energy Corp. is a Canada-based conventional oil and gas company with operations in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. The Company operates through development and production of oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin segment. Its operating areas include Pembina Cardium and other areas, which include Saskatchewan and Northeast British Columbia. But they are claiming they will generate $100m FFO for the remaining 3Qs if oil averages $70?

How does this make sense? Can somebody please explain to me? 

 

The numbers do look weird, but it might have something to do with them loading up on capex in the first quarter to drill several new wells that should contribute to the future quarters. I believe they spent a large amount of planned capex for the year in the first quarter. That still doesn't make the numbers work, but it's a contributor.

Someone else might have more insight...
