RE:TV Provides Update on Search and Dewatering Efforts at Perko
"These floodwaters caused extensive damage to ramps and access roads, as well as underground infrastructure."
"we have to rebuild the five-kilometre-long underground access ramp and to date we have restored more than 3,800 metres using more than 25,000 tonnes of waste rock."
Where do you think all those damaged material went??? if not they were flushed down the bottom of the pit plugging up and burying the mine pit and everything that's there.
I think dewatering the pit is half the work then starts the fun part of digging through the mud and debris and excavating, washing down and removing all that carnage.
All that seems to me like a long and expensve process, not sure if they would opt to foot the bill or just bail out and cut their losses?
