RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:news outMy understanding is that this approval is typically sought and granted (though not always) AFTER full permitting has occurred.
Once a project is permitted -- the ministry of the environment puts in place a rehab and restore program that needs to be bonded by a company -- only then does a mining lease get granted. Permits are different than a mining lease...you need permits and the rehab program to get the lease.
To my mind this signals that the Gov't is very interested in moving this forward....perhaps they too are waiting on the Comex.....
Seems like a very positive signal to me -- time will tell
