At least for Tinley's!!!
I feel good about Tinley clearing obstacles and doing things to remove doubt and their social media shots of production of ours and co-bottlers skus.
I also feel good from the reviews from satisfied customers who took the time to report to us of their impressions, availability, run-outs and re-stocks, mostly from the Canada launch. Even about the Beckett's!
My gut tells me and my due diligence is confirming my committment with other interested companies, that carry considerable clout, and their movement towards beverage skus.
Canopy Growth has been on shelves in Canada in record time by comparison to us to get feedback from consumers and to tweak some of their skus or launch other brands. I beleive that they will be on the win list for shareholders when they can launch cannabinoid infused branded products in the US.
Tilray is another company that is moving hard towards being a Constellation Brands, multi-unicorn with beverage company acquisitions in the us. They picked up a distiller and Sweetwater Brewing, which shows their committment to beverage skus and positioning themselves for doing business on US soil.
Constellation is a major shareholder of Canopy and pretty much in the driver's seat imho. They are a successful beverage alcohol company with a lot of brands under their umbrella and they saw the future of their soft alcohol offerings losing significant marketshare to cannabinoid infused. They did something about it when they bolstered the whole pot biz with their huge $5 billion share purchase of Canopy shares.
I don't believe that these majors have any skus on shelves in California which is a huge coup for beverage companies as a marketplace with 40 million potential consumers who drink above average numbers because it is hot in California. California was also a leader in legalizing pot, first for pharma use and now adult rec use is also legal.
These are huge companies and yet our little old Tinley's is on shelves in California and now Canada.
Tinley has ground their way through the quagmire of legalization in two countries to bring their award winning beverage skus to consumers.
As a longtime shareholder, I can say that, it has been quite a journey, tiptoeing through a minefield to get to the goalpost. The rules changed along the way and we navigated that too. Back when Tinley hit the $2 range we got there on a CBD infused beverage sku called Hemplify.
That changed and we backburnered that line in favour of THC infused which was like scaling another huge peak in the mountain range, especially with dealing with the nimby crowd and the legal beagles sorting out every level of government imaginable to be able to bring this type of sku to consumers.
Jmho, but we are worth that old high of $2 all day long for our advancement in a whole new business category vice, that a lot of voters have strong negative opinion on and Big Alcohol are just getting to coming around to the potential.
Change is difficult for politicians but the voters are weighing in and don't see the problems that some of the do-gooders see.
When we get a level playing field with Beverage Alcohol such that we can compete in the same consumer venues like bars and lounges, anywhere alcohol is consumed, then we will have arrived and profit potential will follow.
In the meantime California and Canada are good testing grounds and Tinley's is there and branching out with lots of interest from retailers.
Now it is up to the consumers who always have the final say! I'm banking on our novelty as a new beverage vice, the healthier benefits of consuming this type of sku over calorie and sugar laden alcohol offerings and if it helps with the aches and pains or sleep, we will be a winner!
We are not alone in our choice of introducing this new vice, we are just one of the first to land some good marketplaces.
If we've got weak hands left, pls leave now and take the marketmakers with you because there are serious longterm buy and hold players that are waiting for this set of circumstances of everything coming together, to realize our sp potential.
With all that Tinley's has done we are definetely worth the old high of $2 all day long compared to when we were selling Hemplify made from hemp stalk oil!
