RE:3-2-1 crack spread a whopping $68.02

RE:3-2-1 crack spread a whopping $68.02The nice thing about Suncor is they mine the oil, crack the oil, wholesale the products and even retail the products. Money is being generated at every turn.

Last I was at the pumps I checked the price of diesel and it was at $2.02 / litre at Mobile.

I'm not an expert at crack yields though the formula states you get 3 from 3. Apparently Suncor's feedstock is good for diesel so when they sell their product at Petrocan they get a full retail price of $2.02 x 158.99 (litres in a barrel) = $321.15 (CAD) for a barrel of diesel with no middlemen involved.

It only cost something like $35 for Suncor to produce a barrel of oil. Pretty sick profit margin.

Of course not all their oil is sold retail and not all of the barrel can be converted to diesel I'm just trying to  show how much cash is being spontaneously generated.
