He also talks about the 'huge advantage' of the firm's mine-to-market strategy, operating as it does in a market largely controlled by China. He downplays concerns about operating in South Africa, explaining that all the recent troubles have been on the opposite coast to where Great Western operates. "We find the political environment in South Africa to be very stable," LeVier says.
