RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Speaking Of "Marner" . . If that were true, if gun ownership were a deterrent to crime, the US would be one of the safest places on earth. I think we can agree that although the idea appears logical at first, in reality it doesn't work.
More guns means more people equipped to commit crimes. More people equipped to commit suicide. And more toddlers shooting people. Did you know that more people have died in the US from toddlers firing guns than from terrorism over the past 5 years (and maybe more)?
More guns isn't a solution. The US states with the highest murder rates are mostly gun friendly states:
1-Louisiana, 2-Missouri, 3-Nevada, 4-Maryland, 5-Arkansas, 6-Alaska, 7-Alabama, 8-Mississippi, 9-Illinois, 10-South Carolina.
For all the MSM's harping about Chicago and Baltimore, cities in red states have higher crime rates.
