Yup compass os fine to look at in terms of a general info regarding salt mines but its not directly comparable. They have very high operating costs. Over half of the sales income goes to simply get the product to the market. Its deep , its old and there are costs involved ranging from trasporting workers, ventalation to lifting the salt to the surface. Also the minine is simply not easy

Atlas will be able to have a few golf carts to bring around workers and a few guys for maintanance. Like silentrunning said joking around before the accounting department might be bigger then the mining staff. They will operate at a slight fraction of compass mine and it will be mostly guiding the auto miner and adding on conveyor belts as theypush ahead.

if i were compass or stone canyon I would be having sleepless nights over this
