maybe you should  read thhe MDA dated May 20 , 2022 posted on SEDAR.

The co. has gone from being a few yrs ago  a $0.30  a share  co. to a high of $14  to now being around  $2.65 . so even after the selloff  its 10 times the price it was a few yrs ago.
Maybe the board believes he deserves his compensation.
