RE:BioHubSee link below for a November 2021 article that indicates that DRIs "mini-pancreas" phase I/II trial is ongoing and that DRI announced its first successful results in 2016. Does make one wonder what has been going on since 2016, though. DRI website mentions this program but provides no updates either as I'm sure you know.
The rest of the article provides a good list of current research companies in the space.
