No one knows where gold is headed.  Short term, Medium term or Long term.  If you think you do, you may be in some pain.  At this point, I would invest in gold as if it was going to be around $1600-$1800 over the next couple of years.  Might be less, but probably more in 2 years time.  I don't know.  Being a contrarian seems to not be a bad idea so when i hear these "it absolutely will be...".

As far as my sell strategy, yeah - that, in hindsight, worked out very well.  I started around 1.80 i think.  last years ave sale was 3.42 on 40-60K shares.   That all sounds grand, however i also said i would bail at 2.50 and i never did with the remaining shares.  lack of discipline again.   in fact, I have bought from 2.80 down to 1.91 which does not give me a rosy feeling right now.  Am i buying more at 1.80 - nope.  I certainly do not trust this is the bottom now - moreso to do with the general markets themselves.
