RE:Checkmate Had Howard been honest and transparent over the years and failed in the end, I will probably consider him a good person.
Since he deceived and misled us, his investors, for years, if he ultimately succeeded, I would forgive him and even be grateful to him. But if he is not, then he will be remembered as a criminal.
What is so difficult about being honest? Especially to his investors. And what do you think you're seen as when you misslead the people whose money you take?
