"IT'S ALMOST COOL TO HATE TWEED"

"IT'S ALMOST COOL TO HATE TWEED"I have a very strong relationship with a manager of a Ontario based dispensary, who has provided a wealth of information to me from a "boots on the ground" perspective.  In each case, what he has said has either been true, or has become true.  He has a lot of insight into purchasing trends.  I spoke at length with him today, and these are his comments.

1) Canopy's rebranding to "Do what feels good" has been a total botch.

2) Supreme used to be good, but once taken over by Canopy, the product quality (and sales) are both trashed.

3) 7Acres is still ok.

4)  I noted from the quarterly that Canopy said they "benefited from strong consumer demand for...Chemdog and Powdered Donuts. "  He actually laughed out loud.

5) According to him, (and he would know) It's actually becoming cool with the buying public to hate on Tweed products.  He said that some of this is certainly deserved, but it seems to have got a life of it's own with the buying public.
