RE:RE:Electric Long haul Heavy trucking article

RE:RE:Electric Long haul Heavy trucking articleStupid you really don't know anything about mining. The vehicles you referanced have an electronic transmission powered by a diesel engine. My honda Ridgeline has a electronic transmssion powered by a gas engine.

Second, the vehicles you referance are used for large open pit mining where the mill is next to the deposit. They are not designed to make 110km round trips. Also, the smallest vehicle in the information you referanced with electronic drives (transmissions) weights 750,000 lbs or 350 tons. It is also 25 feet tall and 24 feet wide. If you think the logging roads are going to hold up to this vehicle your "Stupid". I want to see two of these pass each other going in opposite directions on your logging roads.

Finally, how much do you think these vehicles cost? Especially if you need a fleet of them. If you don't purchase how much do you think the rent will be for say a month. It's not cheap.

Now go back to your hole and try again. This time find something all electric that is capable of hauling material 220 km just to make one round trip.
