.......The Vehicle Integration Manager will manage all activities related to vehicle build projects. This includes direct supervision of technicians and shop support staff as well as close interaction with technical and project management leaders. The successful candidate will encourage and motivate all team members to promote healthy shop operations. The Vehicle Integration Manager will also provide continuous support and coaching to employees to help ensure they are fully engaged and committed to achieving project success and eventual client satisfaction. The successful candidate will work closely with the systems, electrical, and mechanical design teams in the design, integration, and testing of control systems for a variety of applications and clients.

Responsibilities

Support the growth of the integration and build the team by assisting in the selection of talent, tools, and processes
Communicate responsibilities and expectations to new team members and provide relevant training and guidance as needed
Manage staff, prepare work schedules, and assign specific duties on a daily basis
Monitor and evaluate staff performance, support the creation of correction action plans
Ensure high levels of productivity and quality are met and maintained.
Select and execute training or learning events for continued skills improvement of staff
Set departmental goals, monitor progress, and evaluate and report outcomes.
Foster a productive and safe working environment.
Ensure adherence to company policies and all relevant regulations.
Track vehicle build issues and work directly with the project teams to help identify the root cause(s) and closeout issues in a timely manner
Compile lessons learned and seek continuous improvement in quality and efficiency
Maintain inventory of supplies and tools for the team to effectively accomplish projects
