good link to explain plan for USBuzz on the Bullboards: WEED announces $3.4B U.S. acquisition | 2019-04-18 | Investing News | Stockhouse
The real deal that is mostly ignored by shareholders. Shows what Acreage was once valued at and the connection to Canopy.
That deal was revisited and re-inked but still viable. Canopy paid $30 million when they re-did the deal so now they just need to print some share certs to complete the deal for 70% (the fixed Acreage shares). And the Acreage floating shares will get scooped up for over $6 US ( currently $1.20) and my opinion is that all Canopy shares will be in demand when the rest of the US investors that aren't invested, come buying.
The saviour sku is going to be beverages with cannabinoids, although Canopy is backing BioSteel with the support it needs to keep expanding.
I would like to see Canopy buy out Tinley's/ C.TNY for rapid expansion to California and on the East coast, I'm betting that there is a bottling facility in that 300k square foot facility that Canopy has built out in New York.
When Canopy can do business free from protectionism and prosecution on US soil, Canopy will keep the leadership position.
Canopy has plan b in place to with TER, Wana, Gage, Martha Stewart and others with branded product deals and assets that will complement their tail to snout cannabinoid business.
TNY is on the verge of steady income streams for their own beverage skus and co-bottling deals with some namebrand companies in Long Beach, Cali.
