RE:AFIRS Edge+™ a big plusSince reading CF's post I have been trying to find out how many aircraft have WQAR installed. It seems that Teledyne controls were the first to develop it, and they have 14,500 installations on 200 airlines:

 The only other thing I have found so far is a Chinese company (Chengdu Hot Aviation Technology Co Ltd.) who patented a cheaper version in 2016. I clicked on the pdf link but it is in Chinese. I tried their website and found no more information.
