Hey shortsighted905...

First of all...is this move transitional namely shortsighted or will it become permanent...the latter is best for us.  I have mentiioned it on a previous post on this board...Makuch is most definitely a mine builder...time for the market to figure out what they are up to...very nice!  His endorsement will move the share price forward accordingly.

Is he up to the task at this point is his career...let us look at this comments for an answer.

Tony Makuch commented that; “In taking this role, I am very excited about the prospects for the Company and the Cordero Project, and see significant opportunity in working with the Board and Management. Discovery Silver’s Cordero Project is a world class deposit with industry leading scale, cost performance, manageable capex and financial results as demonstrated in the recently released Preliminary Economic Assessment. As the Company progresses through the next stages of both a Prefeasibility and Feasibility study, we expect to demonstrate with a high level of confidence the excellent economics of the Project and realize significant value for all stakeholders.”

It appears to me that he wants the position to become permanent..lovely indeed!  His record speaks for itself..he is the individual to take us to the next level and beyond.

They will do a search for a new CEO with all due respect to all involved in the past number of years...but...I think that Makuch will move from interim to permanent CEO of Discovery Silver.  Perhaps Taj Singh former CEO knew that his days were numbered when Makuch showed up...right time to transition from explorer to producer.

An interim CEO is a person appointed by a company's board of directors to assume the role of the chief executive officer during a time of transition or as the result of the sudden departure of the company's previous CEO.
