The core sample might come up as you say.
Generally sludge will go into a bucket for a look-see,Air ? No. Hard rock ore ? Alwayys.

The only really soft area around this mine is the existing lime stone mine to the North which is just metres away from the Hanging Wall deposit which is above the process plant level then dips down below..
The other lower strike zones are just below the process plant level.
All these areas will take many years to exploit.

As we move further down into the other 60 or so existing levels in this mine all levels are flooded, so what and no big deal.
It is a hard rock granite area that does not have a ability to absorbe water.
Air pockets ? No.

150 metres below the lowest 60th level is the start of the Moly deposit, hard rock and no soft spots or water at all. Un-mined and un-touched.

Three months of Summer and three of Autumn.
That is good for concrete laying and initial build out..
