RE:Good News for TAAT MentholGordonGeko1 wrote: The Los Angeles City Council voted unanimously Wednesday to ban the sale of flavored tobacco products.
The ban, which goes into effect Jan. 1, 2023, ends the sale of flavored e-cigarettes, menthol cigarettes and flavored cigars.
Research has shown nicotine, the addictive drug found in tobacco products, can harm a developing adolescent brain and increases the risk of developing psychiatric disorders and cognitive impairment.
Multiple countries and governing bodies, including the European Union, Canada, Brazil, Ethiopia, and Turkey, as well as some U.S. states and municipalities, including Massachusetts and Washington, D.C., already have menthol bans in effect.
What does the research say about the harmful effects on a person's lungs and health when they inhale smoke from a burning cigarette be it from tobacco or hemp? You can ignore those facts but they are not going away and they will affect the future of TAAT's hemp biomass sales no matter how many times management reworks the biomass formula.
Know this: Inhaling smoke is toxic and unhealthy.
