Its 100% owned Karowe mine is a producer of large Type IIA diamonds, more than 10.8 carats, including the historic 1,758 Sewelo, the 1,109 carat Lesedi La Rona and the 813-carat Constellation.

It might also be a good sign when the President of Botswana tells the world that the Okavango Diamond Company is going to "ramp up its participation in the diamond space" * at the same time that Lucara tells us that there is a third party producer trial commencing in Q2.**
