RE:RE:RE:All F.... Bad News and Max out $$$$

RE:RE:RE:All F.... Bad News and Max out $$$$Yes I had xebec last year...and put it into ncu. Ha ha silly me. Yes with genius hindsight early 2021 was psyco spec mania coming out of the mad plague economics. An expensive psycological lesson. Yes selling the parabolic takes discipline. But when you loose on the roller coaster and the theoretical numbers still make sense the tendency is to hold on. Hope nofluff is correct about the troubles with gravel mines....I am tempted to attend the June 23 meeting for free cookies and coffee...but it might be healthier just to take a long walk along the lake. Cheers! quote=westcoast1000]Zouz,

You and I and maybe Aurens are also in XBC. That is my other play that is losing badly. About 14-15 months ago we both had the chances to exit both these positions at huge gains. That is the lesson to learn: when a stock goes parabolic, it is going to come down fast soon. If you can absorb that and act on it in the future, there are gains to be made.

But let's be realistic and not focused on today. That was only 14 months or so ago. In a year, things are probably going to look quite different on both names. I was able to buy a lot of NCU at about 50-60 and so was buying along with Pala. That means I am in deeper than originally but also at a lower cost. However, I have not averaged down on XBC since the swoon started.

Good luck to all of us and remember: when it goes up really fast, SELL. You can always buy again if you want to do so. [/quote]
