RE:RE:RE:This Tony Makuch guy looks legit to take DSV next level
Some juniors are on a mission to expand the resource, it's drill drill drill every year even though they already have a project large enough to develop with huge profits. They are doing it to raise the buyout price, it is the tipping of the hand that they aren't using the limited capital available to move the project forward, they use that money to add Oz's / tons to the resource estimate which they believe bumps up the buyout price. Canada Nickel is an example.. Others have a gigantic resource, most of which they are uncertain is it economical or no, how much is there, how deep does it go. That's Discovery Silver. Yes Discovery drills, but the focus is making it all the way to a Feasibility Study & begin the campaign to raise CAPEX. You can only develop one project at a time as a junior, we all know this. Adding resource elsewhere in the project doesn't move you one foot closer to getting permits, proving metallurgy, & feeling the waters on who is willing to work with you on long term debt & streaming. Discovery looks to be a Go, the project will get built & they can do it without JV. Of course, in mining everything is for sale at the right price, a buyout might occur. But there is a huge difference in a miner fervently seeking to build their project & those choosing to make themselves as beautiful as possible for the knight who will buy them out. There's a hundred ways to get screwed in junior mining & only a few ways to get paid. The mine might get built & shareholders still get screwed with really bad streaming deals & lowball contracts. But Discovery is doing what most juniors don't, advance the project forward like time matters. Those are the mines that actually get built.
