The writing was on the wall but at least they were able to get to this point during the last couple years.  The cash in the bank came just in time and at a reasonable price that underpins the valuation and not having to raise money in a potential recession is a big derisk.  

I'm not sure Sernova will have to do much for marketing to be on the radar of institutions and attract investment now that they are in bed with Evotec.   The problem now is the lack of institutional money flow into the sector and the markets in general for that matter.  When that changes and inflows pick up Sernova should catch some bids and start to turn over its retail base.
