RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:But Good Citizens In Canada Don't Need Guns, Right ? Thanks for the input, I think the older generations can testify to the changing culture in Canada/USA. But I think a lot of people feel this push towards eroding rights and freedoms that is always spun as a net positive. I for one am quite skeptical for increasing government overwatch.

1. The point was discussed if the gun violence was cultural. No reference was made to races. You were the one drawing that possible conclusion, not me.
2. You may be too young to know, that years ago, the capitol of Ontario was called "TORONTO THE GOOD".
In 1968, there was a billboard at the corner of Bloor st East and Parliament. On it was a Metro policeman with the inscription: "is this Toronto the good, or Chicago? It is only September, and
there were already 8 murders in the city."
Also, car jacking, and the ASSAULT OF TEACHERS IN CLASSROOMS by students were un-
known and unheard of in our city.
And all these changes are deeply rooted in the culture, and made common by video games in which children(under 18 years of age) play and practice how to shoot and kill others. Right?
Similarily, home invasion was unknown here, and guns WERE NOT REGISTERED.
Now, if you are attacked, you are advised not to defend yourself, let the criminals have their way.
Another word, your hose is no longer your castle- yoy no longer allowed to defend it.
A quantum change in culture and law.
