Although their crime rate per capita is much higher than Canada's or Peel's which isn't even close to being the highest crime rate in Canada.
Did you ever not lock your front door? Is that from stories your grandparents told you?

It's just a perception thing I suppose. It's odd no one is celebrating the decline in crime though, I'm quite sure that woman who was set on fire on the TTC bus doesn't think crime in Canada has dropped, nor the 28 people robbed at gun point in Peel in just the past 30 days.
I appreciate the link though, I feel safer already. I might not even bother locking the front door tonight....

More population makes it seem like there is more crime but statistically you are safer today than you were in the 90's.

If you belive hitting children is the answer to raising them properly perhaps it is best that you do not have any and leave others to the raising of theirs as studies shows that hitting children is more likely to produce outwardly violent adolescents and adults, You know, the kind that want to cut off hands for stealing and things like that.
Yes everyone wants to take away what they like from mythical books until someone points out the contradictions from that same mythical book then they claim the book is mythical and should not be taken as literally as they previously said it should."
