Whitecap Resources Inc. is an oil-weighted growth company. The Company is engaged in the business of acquiring, developing and holding interests in petroleum and natural gas properties and assets. Its core areas include the West Division and East Division. Its West Division is comprised of three regions: Smoky, Kaybob and Peace River Arch (PRA). The properties in its Smoky region include Kakwa and Resthaven, all located in Northwest Alberta. The primary reservoir being developed is the Montney resource play, mainly comprised of condensate-rich natural gas. Kaybob is located in the Fox Creek region of Northwest Alberta. They turned ugly a few days ago and they are not looking any better. We will eventually find a bottom but it's better to be on the sidelines until it happens.<

If you can forecast the future using the 200 day moving average, then it should be more accurate using the 150 day, 100 day, the 50 day, or the the 10 day.
Is there some special magic attached to the number 200?
Why not use the 666 day moving average?

Or is it that members of Idiots United Against Rationality prefer the number 200?
