RE:Why such a deal ?

RE:Why such a deal ?Hi Atika.
Yes we are all asking the same question ( is it good for my company).

Both presidents  from both co cannot give us a strait answer.
If Mr Gagnon want's to convince the shareholders of Pershimex he would have to put up arguments
saying that he got the best deal and Abcourt was dealt the loosing hand.

Now if Mr Hamelin want's to convince Abcourt shareholders that he got the best deal he would have to put up arguments saying that he got the best deal and Pershimex was dealt the loosing hand.

Neither presidents can do that now.
Pershimex shareholders have to vote with 66% for the merger to be accepted.
Yes Mr Gagnon can put up arguments saying he got the best of the merger but that would put Mr Hamelin on the loosing side and lose face with Abcourt shareholders.

So for now the only option is to wait for the vote from Pershimex shareholders .

After if the result of the vote is yes to the merger we will probably have both presidents expressing their true oppinion on the merger and then we  can all move in the same direction.
