I am not sure about who needs a leprechaun. I am saying that petroleum will be as much in demand many years from now as it is today. I realize that there is an ocean of people who wish it were not so. But there is also a growing ocean of people who very much need energy in all its forms and will pay no matter what to get it. That other ocean includes just about everyone outside of North America.
Natural gas is now roughly twice the cost of oil on an energy equivalent basis outside N.A. So why not shift to Oil? As I said earlier it is easier to transport oil to where it is needed than anything else.The only real hope , as the world is slowly learning, to displace oil is either nat gas or coal. I say why displace it at all, it is the overall best solution there is !!
