Trogarzo is safe/safer... It is always useful to know the strength and weakness of the competitions so comparing trogarzo with fostemsavir there are advantages and disadvantages for each drug. Mostly here folks are obsessed with oral versus infused drug so on that front most patients might prefer the oral version due to ease of use although others might go with bi-weekly injections not worrying about forgetting the pills,(less pills in the medicine cabinet crowded by other ARTs) to take.
Now how about the medical advantages/disadvantages. It seems like Trogarzo is much safer due to having interactions only with one drug versus fostemsavir interacting with you heard right 353 drugs some with moderate side effects (one of them is the popular Truvada which is commonly used among homosexuals), not to mention fostemsavir interact with two diseases, QT prolongation (faster heart rate which can cause cardiac arrest) and Hepatitis B and C (elevation of liver enzymes) and guess what the most common reason for elevated liver enzyme is NAFLD!! So I guess on the safety side Trogarzo is far more superior to its rival fostemsavir.
