RE:Billboard Buzz: Planes, Trains and "Rusty" Wheelchairs?

RE:Billboard Buzz: Planes, Trains and "Rusty" Wheelchairs? Interesting about the rust, yes it's true that magnesium rusts easy and needs a protective coating, I was just reading about another manufacturer of end user stamped parts that shut down citing that (cost of coatings) as one reason but for the life of me can't find the link in my history. I believe they had other reasons as well but the rust I wasn't aware of. I would think that bulk sales of raw magnesium the coatings wouldn't be a concern for them but if they plan to stamp out other parts for third parties it may be.
Anyway, lots of info out there, and I can't find my link and it's not to relevant at this point I wont go on.
